Craig T. Curry – Managing General Partner
Craig Curry spent over 30 years as a consultant in the field of land planning and development prior to forming Greater Texas Land Resources in 2003. GTLR was established in order to provide land acquisition, entitlement, development, disposition, and general consulting services for properties primarily located in north Texas. Craig is the Managing Partner and establishes the focus of the company and serves as the primary contact with the investment groups for each of the properties.
Prior to his creating Greater Texas Land Resources, Mr. Curry was Executive Vice President and Regional Service Manager for the Central Region Civil Engineering Services at PBS&J. His responsibilities included managing the land planning, civil engineering, and surveying operations within the central states’ area. Craig previously served as President of The Nelson Corporation/PBS&J Texas operations. While at Nelson/PBS&J, Craig led teams that planned, entitled and prepared design plans for various projects including resort communities, residential subdivisions, and commercial centers throughout the Dallas-Ft Worth metroplex with a focus on the high growth corridor north of Dallas. Craig began his career with Jack Nicklaus and Associates where he assisted with the planning and development of golf course communities throughout the United States, including Castle Pines Village in Denver, Desert Highlands in Scottsdale, and St. Andrews Village in New York.
Mr. Curry graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1977. He has been a member, officer, and/or board member for many professional organizations during his career including American Planning Association, Urban Land Institute, Consulting Engineers Council of Texas, Greater Dallas Planning Council, and Dallas Academy.
L. Clint Richardson – Vice President of Development
Clint Richardson began his tenure as Vice President of Development for Greater Texas Land Resources in May of 2013. He is responsible for the analysis and execution of projects from land acquisition through development and/or disposition. Clint draws upon his 20+ years of experience to facilitate resolution of special entitlement and engineering issues that arise during the acquisition and development phases.
Prior to joining Greater Texas Land Resources, Mr. Richardson served as Land Development Manager for a publicly traded homebuilder and delivered lot inventory in multiple communities located throughout the DFW area. Clint previously worked as a consulting engineer for several firms including as Director of Engineering for Sanchez & Associates and as a project manager at Kimley-Horn. While as a consulting engineer, he provided services including feasibility analysis, zoning, construction plan preparation, budgeting, and project permitting / approvals for a multitude of project types including single family residential, multi-family residential, office, commercial, institutional, and recreational.
Mr. Richardson graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer (Inactive) in the State of Texas. He has served on the Frisco Planning & Zoning Commission (2008-2012), the McKinney Stormwater Education Committee, the McKinney Green Committee, and is the past President of the Prosper Developers’ Council (2015-2018).
D. Dean Dumke, Jr. – Vice President of Construction
Dean joined Greater Texas Land Resources in July of 2019. He is responsible for managing the development process from design through completion of construction. He reviews construction plans for constructability and efficiency, drives the bidding process, manages contracts and pay applications, maintains the project scheduling, and coordinates work of the multiple entities on the site.
Dean brings with him 34+ years’ experience in the development and construction industry from multiple fronts. He worked for TxDOT as an Engineering Aide while in school and then full time after college where he oversaw major projects in the Austin area including bridges (overpass interchanges and segmental), highway reconstruction, and new thoroughfare construction. From there, he joined the staff of a major city municipality in DFW serving as a City Inspector overseeing the construction of residential, commercial, and CIP projects. Dean then moved to the private development realm as Land Development Manager for a homebuilder managing multiple projects within the DFW area. He then transitioned to the construction world and served at two large private contractors specializing in earthwork, utilities (wet/dry), paving, and landscaping. While there, he rose to the role of Sr. Project Manager and travelled across Texas and nearby states managing multiple, concurrent multi-million dollar commercial projects. Just before joining the GTLR Team, Dean was VP of Operations at a DFW based paving company where he was responsible for operations, accounting, implementing procedures, building team unity, and putting teams together to reach company goals. This diverse experience of all types of work and from different seats provides Dean a unique ability to better understand projects from multiple perspectives and to bridge the gap between the entities involved and drive a productive process.
Dean attended the University of Texas/Austin and Austin Community College.
Tricia Horton – Controller
Tricia became a member of the Greater Texas Land Resources team in October of 2014 bringing with her over 20 years of accounting experience. Tricia oversees all day-to-day operational activities and is responsible for internal and external financial reporting. Her primary focus is on optimizing internal controls and enhancing the accuracy of our financial reporting and tax compliance.
Tricia graduated from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
